The Breeding Certificate is to be used when a mare is exposed to a stallion through live cover, or bred by fresh or frozen semen and when the stallion owner is not or no longer the owner of the mare.
The Breeding Certificate is to be filed with the Office. Copies should be retained by the stallion owner and given to the new owner of the mare or the owner of the mare at time of service.
The Breeding Certicate may be sent in by the stallion owner with the Stallion Breeding Report or by the mare owner with the resulting foal Registration Application to replace obtaining the signature of the Owner of the Stallion at time of service and /or the Owner of the Mare at time of service.
The Breeding Certicate may be sent to the Office, at any time, for your convenience.
There is NO FEE for submitting this certificate to the Office.
